The Trader Cody’s Choppers parts line started with seeing a lack of specific bolt on ready parts for building choppers.

The Trader Cody’s Midway Shovelhead Mid Controls are our first venture into a production part that is bolt on ready. They are finished (powder coat or chrome) and made with the highest quality available materials. We have done our best to make a quality product that is bolt on ready and reasonably priced.

We sourced as many American made materials as possible. The steel, brass bushings, powder coat, chrome and the packing material (bags and cardboard boxes) are all made in America. Even the swag in each box is made in the USA. After all of the raw materials are gathered everything is welded and assembled in Reno, Nevada.

The Midway Shovelhead Mids are set up to fit 1970-1999 shovel and evo engines with 4 speed transmissions that have a main shaft support. Both ratchet top and rotary top trannys will work. The years for those trannys are 1965-1984. Also aftermarket transmissions with the same support will be just fine. You will have to use the main shaft support bearing and the rotor cover for the engine or 1/2 spacers in their spots. The stock Midway Mids will work on a variety of different transmission base plates.
