Redwood Rebel Run

The “Redwood Rebel Run” commences at the crack of dawn in Reno, Nevada with sleeping bags, extra cans of gas and beef jerky strapped to handlebars and sissy bars… we typically stop for gas (and a few beers) every eighty to a hundred’ish miles and pray to the chopper gods that everyone’s bike makes it. Day one ends at dusk after a day of hoofing it over the Sierra Nevadas when we’ve reached our campsite and prepare (hopefully while it’s still light out) for a weekend of camping, beer chugging, bullshitting around a fire and sleeping under the stars. The next few days are spent riding through a myriad of routes through the redwoods, gazing in awe at some of the world’s largest trees and trying not to get thrown out of pizza parlors. The almost last day begins with an epic ride through highway 299 and hopefully ends in a pool or at a steakhouse in or about Redding... The last-last day we make another offering to the chopper gods, bundle up as best we can and ride back to the biggest little city.

We don’t make rules or care about what kind of bike our friends ride… as long as it’s a chopper.
